On November 18, Drew County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant at a residence located at 415 Speer Street, Lot 20. Arrested at the scene were Allen B. Lewis, 26, and Antonio K. Lewis, 22, both of Monticello. Each were charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), possession of a defaced firearm, as is was apparent that the serial number on the firearm was scratched in an attempt to remove it, and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

Both suspects were transported to the Drew County Detention Facility and given $2,500 bonds. Both have since bonded.

On November 19, Drew County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant at 435 North Oak Street in Monticello. Arrested at the scene was Ronnie D. Junior, age 47, the occupant of the home. Junior was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. During the search deputies found what is believed to be approximately 8 rocks of crack cocaine.

Also at the scene was Johnny M. Streeter, age 58 of Fordyce. Streeter was found to be in possession of approximately .75 grams of marijuana. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Deputies transported Junior and Streeter to the Drew County Detention Facility where their bond was set at $2,500. Both have since posted bond.
