Investigation Continues in the Death of Drew County Man

The Drew County Sheriff's Department and the Arkansas State Police continues to seek information regarding the death of Marquis Martin, 26, of Wilmar. Marquis was seen on video surveillance February 9th at the Murphy USA gas station shortly after leaving work at the local McDonalds in Monticello; reportedly after leaving Murphy's he was driven to his home in Wilmar and dropped off at his residence.

On March 7th at approximately 7:05 a.m. his body was discovered in an area north of Wilmar. An autopsy was conducted by the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory days later. The results of the autopsy are not being released at this time due to this being an ongoing investigation conducted by the Drew County Sheriff's Department and Arkansas State Police.
