On January 6, 2019, around 9:00pm The Drew County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call about a disturbance at a residence in the Lacey area. Deputies found a group of people and one with a knife wound. It is believed that the victim Clifton James Jolley approached the vehicle, Hall then drew a knife and cut Clifton Jolly in the mid jaw area. The victim was transported by personal vehicle to the Drew Memorial Hospital to be treated. The alleged suspect Caleb Aaron Hall was placed in custody by the Drew County Sheriff’s Department on the following charges Aggravated Assault, and Battery 2nd Degree. Caleb Hall appeared before a judge for first appearance on January 7th were a $1,000.00 cash bond was set. Sheriff Mark Gober says the investigation is ongoing at this time.
