It is with a heavy heart that the Drew County Sheriff's Department announces the passing of one of their own, Deputy Timothy Braden, 29.  He was killed this morning in the line of duty following a motor vehicle pursuit that ended in a crash just outside of Monticello along Barkada Road.

He leaves behind a wife, Alyssa and four children, Drake, Mallory, Adilynn and Sophie.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the Braden family during this very difficult time.
