The Drew County Sheriff’s Department received information that a local sex offender had violated the terms of the sex offender registry by failing to notify authorities that she had moved addresses. Angela Irons, age 20 of Monticello, was arrested on Thursday, August 23^rd and escorted to the Drew County Detention Facility where she was charged with failure to register/failure to comply with reporting requirements. Irons was taken for a first appearance where she was issued a $500 bond. She bonded out on August 24^th. She is in compliance at this time.
