On Saturday, August 18th, a Drew County Sheriff’s Deputy received a report of a suspicious looking male walking around a residence located on Bowser Road. The bag also contained several items that had been reported stolen from approximately four vehicles located in the Bowser Road-Burton Road area. Bowden was arrested and transported to the Drew County Detention Facility. He was taken for a first appearance on Monday, August 20th, before District Court Judge Ken Harper who released Bowden on his own recognizance.

On Wednesday, August 22nd at around 2:30 AM, Bowden was arrested again by the Monticello Police Department after he was found attempting to steal a vehicle from Dickerson Auto Sales and then trying to flee the scene of the crime. He is currently being held in the Detention Facility on a $250,000 bond.
