Hogs Found Dumped in Creek
The Drew County Sheriff’s Department received a call on Wednesday, April 25, in reference to nine dead wild hogs found dumped into a stream near Drew 22 Lane. The investigator did note that two of the hogs had been skinned and their death appeared to be the result of blunt force trauma. Sheriff Mark Gober said “the carcasses were improperly disposed of which led to a bigger issue of becoming an environment problem.”
Arkansas Health Department and the Drew County road crew removed the hogs and disposed of their carcasses. Anyone with any information regarding this illegal dumping is urged to contact the Drew County Sheriff’s Department at 367-6211 or email email@example.com.
