Information Sought on Lead and Copper Wire Theft in Tillar

Drew County Sheriff’s Department received a call from the Tillar Gin in reference to a theft. When the deputy arrived he spoke to the manager of the Gin who stated that there was one big roll of lead wire used for welding, one big roll of copper wire, and one big roll of copper butane tubing that had been stolen from the Gin between the dates of August 12-16. The three rolls estimated value is approximately $5,500. It was also noted that four car batteries were also stolen; their value being $450. It is unknown how access was gained to these items.
