On Tuesday, May 15th, a Drew County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to a residence located in the 2100 block of Midway Route in reference to a possible break-in. The deputy observed that the house had been entered through a back door that had been pried open. An unknown suspect allegedly took a black 22-caliber rifle and two boxes of 22-caliber rounds. If any citizen has information regarding this or any other break-in in the area, they are urged to contact the Drew County Sheriff’s Department at 367-6211.


On Wednesday, May 16th, a Drew County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to a residence located in the 400 block of Highway 133 in Lacey in reference to a break-in. It appeared that an unknown suspect had entered the residence after breaking out glass from a back door. It appears that the only item that had been taken was a Toshiba laptop computer. If any citizen has information on this break-in or others in the area they are urged to contact the Drew County Sheriff’s Department at 367-6211. Any information can be reported anonymously.


 On May 3rd, the Drew County Sheriff's Department received a report of a possible break-in at a residence located on South Wilmar Road. Unknown suspects took three televisions (a 32-inch Sharp flatscreen, a 42-inch  Vizio flatscreen, and a 20-inch vizio flatscreen), a man's gold wrist watch, and a Dell laptop computer. If any citizen has any information regarding these missing items, they are urged to contact the Sheriff's Department at 367-6211 or by emailing info@drewcountysheriff.com.


On May 2nd, the Drew County Sheriff's Department received a report of theft at a residence located on Lynn Acres. The home owner noticed that several items were missing from her carport area. The missing items include a Black and Decker tool box full of hand tools, a hatchet, several Craftman screwdrivers, a ShopVac electric blower, a pipe wrench and a staple gun. If any citizen has any information regarding these missing items, they are urged to contact the Sheriff's Department at 367-6211 or by emailing info@drewcountysheriff.com.


 The Drew County Sheriff's Department received a report of a residence located on Pumpkin Center Road being broken into and several items stolen between the dates of March 21 and April 1. Some of the stolen items include a 60-inch Emerson TV, a 32-inch TV (brand unknown), a pressure washer, a checkbook, and an air compressor. If any citizen has any information regarding these missing items, they are urged to contact the Sheriff's Department at 367-6211 or by emailing info@drewcountysheriff.com.


  The Drew County Sheriff's Department is investigating the theft of a 14-foot flat-bottom Monark boat that was stolen from Four Mile Creek near the Drew-Desha county line. If anyone knows the whereabouts of this boat, they are urged to contact the Sheriff's office at 367-6211 or email info@drewcountysheriff.com.


On January 21, a Drew County Sheriff Deputy was dispatched to 4131 Highway 425 South in reference to a theft report. A red single seat go-cart with a 5 horsepower Briggs and Stratton engine and two pink and grey battery-operated scooters had allegedly been taken from the residence. The victim told the deputies that all three items had been under a carport and were being held together with a chain that was discovered to have been cut with a set of bolt cutters. If anyone knows the whereabouts of these items or has information about this case, they are urged to contact the Sheriff’s Department at 367-6211 or email info@drewcountysheriff.com.


On January 23, the Drew County Sheriff's Department received a report of stolen farm equipment taken from a farm on Four Mile Creek.  It appeared as though a John Deer cultivator had been cut up by a cutting torch and hauled away, leaving only the bar. If anyone has any information regarding this theft, they are urged to contact the Sheriff's Department.
